Programming Note: March 27, 2025

No proper newsletter last week or this week while I’m on holiday! I meant to publish one on Tuesday but packing got away from me.

This timing was kind of bad since there were a lot of big shows to cover last week, but also good since there’s been a little lull in the puro calendar after those.

I basically haven’t watched any wrestling since the 3/15 New Japan Cup quarter finals (which I ended up watching on the flight to my holiday). When I get back to it, I’ll try to have some notes on the big shows that just happened:

• New Japan Cup
• DDT Judgement
• TJPW Grand Princess
• SenJo The Top of Pro Wrestling
• Stardom Cinderella Tournament
• NOAH 3/22 Korakuen

As well as AJPW’s big Ota City show this weekend.

Part of my holiday is that my partner has booked, no joke, a library hotel near Manchester for a couple nights, and while she reads a bunch of ancient books, I am of course going to be catching up on wrestling on my tablet. And I should be back home well in time for the big shows next week, like Sakura Genesis on 4/5 and DDT’s next Korakuen on 4/6.
